Let’s Watch And Analyze The First Gameplay Trailer of Persona 5

So far news pertaining to Persona 5 has been pretty scant. The first trailer used chairs with ball & chains attached to them, with only the tagline “You are a slave. Want emancipation?” to go along with them. The second trailer showed a lot more, this time showing the main protagonist in a train heading towards the main city. Still, there wasn’t much we could go on except that whatever enemy was there showed up in the real world. So now we come to this, the first trailer to show gameplay as well as a lot more info than what the previous trailers were willing to let out. The quick cuts might be too much to take in or outright miss. So let’s break this down bit by bit.

Persona Event Round-up: Persona 5 Revealed (Among Others)

At 6AM EST, the Persona event was livestreamed and kicked off with who I think was the voice actress for Teddie (well… she sounded like Teddie). After a brief introduction by her, Teddie himself showed up and began talking a bit about the series, or at least the bits and pieces I can understand since it was in Japanese. Then the games came, and there sure was a lot of Persona. Hit the jump and let’s take a look.

Is p-ch.jp Persona Related, Or Is There Something More To It?

Destructoid‘s Dale North recently reported on an “accidental slip” that a redditor picked up on regarding p-ch.jp. For a while now this site’s been suspected of being related to Persona. The image in question on Destructoid reveals that the website is for the release of Persona 5. So some are psyched up while others are suspicious as to what this site is for. However many are pointing out that the image is a fake. Since then the site has reverted back to the above image — or maybe it’s been like this the whole time since the image from reddit has been deemed fake. Regardless, let’s go ahead and analyze what this site is about anyway.
