What was once “sky fell, the,” is now a full sentence. “That day our sky fell, the heavens split to create new skies.” In the back of my mind, I’m still thinking, “nah, it’s… probably another game from Project Aces, like Sky Crawlers or something.” But with talk of skies falling and the heavens and it splitting, I can’t help but think that this is definitely a new Ace Combat game.

Namco Bandai Tease Yet Another Image, Looks More Ace Combat Related
Here we go again! Two weeks ago, Namco Bandai teased the Ace Combat crowd with an imaged emblazoned with the Project Aces logo. Now, we have a very up-close shot of what appears to be dialogue from this new game, posted on Namco’s own Ace Combat fanpage. While it’s partially shown, we can assume that the first word is “sky.” So, “sky fell, the”. What could this be alluding to?
Is Namco Bandai Teasing A New Ace Combat?
Over the weekend, the official Ace Combat fan page (which is run by Namco) updated its facebook page with images of what looks to be a new Ace Combat game. Project Aces is the dev team at Namco responsible for the Ace Combat games. The Facebook page’s primary promotion was for Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, with the last update related to that game posted on January 31 of this year.
Slip And Fall Accident Claims The Life Of Dynasty Warriors Japanese Voice Actor
Put simply, this is a really fucked up way to die. Tsuyoshi Takishita, the Japanese voice actor for Sima Yi of Dynasty Warriors, was walking home when he slipped and fell, dying from his injuries. Takishita’s agency, Aoni Production, didn’t specify how he died, only saying that he died from his injuries. Given how common slip and fall accidents are, dying from this is very uncommon. Usually you’d have to hit your head hard on something — or something angular like a stair step or sidewalk curb — to put your life in danger. Given some Japanese media’s tendency to not give specifics (probably to respect the dead), we probably won’t know what exactly happened.
Night-Time Listenings Wrap-Up: Week of 12/3/12
NTL was out for a week, but now we’re back in a big way as this week as all Orchestral! We flew in first with Ace Combat 5. Then we climed a colossus with Shadow of the Colossus. We trained hard with Soul Calibur 3. We played god with ActRaiser. And finally we soared through the skies with Super Mario Galaxy.
If you want to see the music as it goes up (and not wait every Saturday for these wrap-ups), remember to go to our Tumblr page and follow it. Music for Night-Time Listenings goes up every weekday at 10PM.
Night-Time Listenings – Week of 7/9/12
This week on Night-Time Listenings, we listened to licensed music in videogame. Wee did this in chronological order, from the earliest to the most recent. First up, we raged on the road with Road Rash and Soundgarden. Then we drove for our lives in Twisted Metal with Pitchshifter. Then we reminisced with Etro Anime and Digital Devil Saga. We then flew with Ragriz with Ace Combat 5 and Puddle of Mudd. And finally, we beat up some punks with MadWorld and Ox.
